Albert College Park playground is a medium-sized playground that has two sections. The toddler area has two multi-play units, two springers, two baby swings, and a spinner. There are two swings, a super-size spider web, multi-play unit and climbing units for older kids. Aside from the playground, the other facilities found in the Albert College Park include parkland walks, Boules Court, playing pitches for soccer, and the Tennis Ireland National Centre. There are also plenty of garden birds to be seen in the park.It is formerly known as the Glasnevin Institution, until in 1853 when Prince Albert visited the institution. And since then it was called Albert College.
