Swords Manor playground

Description

Another top playground in Dublin is the one in Swords Manor. It is the largest one in Swords. Swords Manor is located right in the heart of Applewood with plenty of equipment to keep kids entertained. Some of the play equipment found in the playground includes a play unit with slide, baby swings, springers, roundabout swings, see-saw for babies and toddlers, balancing units, multi-play units, climbing nets, and swings for older kids. The playground is surrounded by the Ward River Valley Park, which is a lovely park. Families can also have a picnic, walk, play a ball game, fresbee or fly a kite if the weather is good. The Swords Manor playground was the product of months of fundraising by the ground Swords Needs Playgrounds. It is one of the two playgrounds that was put up in Swords. Aside from the playground, the organisation also built all weather basketball and football pitch for older children.
